Walter Gotell is best remembered for appearing in six James Bond films as General Gogol, the head of the KGB. He got his start playing German villains in the nineteen forties and broke out to more prominent and diverse roles. Besides film, Walter appeared in episodes of several popular TV shows such as The Fall Guy, Fantasy Island, Knight Rider, Spencer: For Hire, Miami Vice, Cagney and Lacey, MacGyver, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Tales From the Crypt, and The X-Files. He also appeared in a sequel of another cult horror series: Puppet Master III: Toulon's Revenge.
