Isaac Hayes was an accomplished musician who was several awards and acclaim. His most famous song was the theme from Shaft. Besides his successful music career, Isaac enjoyed popularity in film and television. He played a recurring character on The Rockford Files and Chef on South Park (his role in Return to Sleepaway Camp is a nod to this). He is also well remembered as the main antagonist in Escape From New York.
Return to Sleepaway Camp was released just a few months after Isaac died of a stroke.
